BIO Spiral Guard (Green tint)

Manufactured from sustainable plant based starch - no petrochemical based material.
The CT Bio Spiral guard has a UV stabiliser incorporated at the time of manufacturing to provide a stable service life of 4-5 years.
- 100% plant based - no plastic!
- Tested to meet conformity to EU guidelines
- Environmentally friendly and sustainable.
If the Bio Spirals are left in the environment they will degrade over time due to the bacteria found in soil or due to enzymatic reactions. Alternatively, they can be inserted into an industrial composting unit which will degrade them within 6 months.

TUBEX Vinewrap
£0.75from £0.50The TUBEX Vinewrap was originally designed for the viticulture market but this product has been adopted by Cheviot Trees as an entry level protection solution for conifers or for species that find the TUBEX Easywrap or Spiral guards a bit cramped.
In the past our clients have requested a cost effective protection product for commercial conifers such as Scots Pine, Douglas Fir, etc. A damaged bud due to rabbit / hare damage often results in a tree with poor form and subsequent loss of yield.
Twin wall polypropylene construction with a vertical split which produces a natural overlap. To install, simply slide the product over the bamboo cane and plant.
A bamboo cane if required to support this product.

TUBEX Ecostart
£0.95from £0.72The TUBEX Ecostart is designed to offer a reliable, yet economical solution to rabbit and hare browsing where the prime concern is the initial establishment period.
They are suitable for slender plants used in hedging and landscaping and are a good alternative to a TUBEX Easywrap on exposed sites as they are pre-fitted with a releasable tie.

- Twin wall, cylindrical construction for best strength to weight ratio.
- Pre-fitted releasable ties for quick installation and maintenance.
- Flared rim to minimise stem abrasion.
- Laser line designed to split to avoid strangulation as the plant grows.
For species that have a wider bushier habit we would suggest considering the TUBEX Standard or TUBEX Shrubshelter.

TUBEX Treeguard Mesh

The Treeguard range of products are an open mesh product with no plastic film. If you are planting conifers, or any species that requires plenty of air movement around the plant then the TUBEX Treeguard is the ideal protection option.

- Pre-fitted with releasable ties.
- Moulded top lip to minimise stem abrasion.
A stake is required to support this product.
We also supply the Treeguard in a wider diameter for shrubby species and in roll form that can be cut to length.
