Our hardwood stakes are milled from Robinia timber which is incredibly tough, extremely durable and very sustainable.

Robinia has a high natural resistance to fungi and insect attack due to its naturally high tannic acid content. Robinia is naturally durable which prevents the need for chemical impregnation.

Available in a wide selection of sizes to suit all purposes. Primarily used for supporting tree shelters. Our stakes are well sorted and graded but please allow for a small amount of breakages due to the nature of timber. 

Cheviot Trees hold an FSC® Certification on our softwood stakes (FSC®-C140467). The FSC® system allows business and consumers to identify, purchase and use wood and other forest products from well managed forests and other controlled sources. Please ask for more information.

The prices quoted above are inclusive of delivery for most UK Mainland postcodes.  We do our best to keep costs as low as possible for our customers who live in the Highlands and Islands.

Larger quantities of tree shelters and stakes are normally packaged on pallets and delivered using a lorry which is typically the size of a refuse lorry.
