The TUBEX Shelterguard range of products provide reliable plant protection, enhances growth as well as being designed to blend subtly into the natural environment.

Shelterguard is manufactured from a square plastic netting with a bonded clear plastic film to provide a shelters micro-climatic environment. The film offers added shelters from wind and herbicide spray, allows light to penetrate and acts like a greenhouse.

This is a larger diameter version of Shelterguard and is ideally suited for bushy, multi-stemmed species.

Features and benefits:

  • Prefitted with releasable ties.
  • A thick top lip to minimise stem abrasion.

A stake is required to support this product.

We also supply the Shelterguard in a regular diameter and in roll form that can be cut to length.

Did you know that it is easy to recycle tree shelters at the end of their service life?

Most tree shelters are manufactured from a safe and stable material called Polypropylene which can be recycled even if they have been exposed to years of use in a forestry situation.

Speak to your local farm recycling company or contact us should you require assistance.
