Buckle Tree Ties are the most widely used type of tree tie due to their simplicity, ease of use and reliability.

The tie itself consists of a belt, buckle and collar which means that the belts can be slackened by the buckle as the tree matures with no damage to the tree.

The buckle is made from polycarbonate which is incredibly strong, so able to withstand high wind loads that can be applied to the middle of the buckle. The belt is made from a soft PVC which allows some stretch to give the tree movement and helps the tree develop its own resistance to wind.  The collar fits between the stake and tree, so preventing rubbing of the bark.

Super Soft Tree Ties are a highly durable and effective single piece tie to enable fast fitting.

The integral tying mechanism create a spacer between the tree and stake. The moulded grooves on the inside face of the tree tie help with grip to the stake and protects the bark of the tree.

Manufactured from a super soft PVC which allows more stretch than the traditional plastic tree tie but maintains a good tensile strength.  

The Terra Bio Shelter is a next generation biodegradable tree shelter that is manufactured from British grown natural wood residue and plant resins.

Using wood to protect woods.

The Tree Strapping is manufactured from soft and stretchable UV stabilised PVC.

Can be simply cut to the length required. 

Use in combination with our spacer blocks,  jumbo spacer blocks or tree cushions.

Our Spacer Blocks are the simplest way of holding any type of tree or strap together between a tree and a stake to prevent them rubbing.

The TUBEX Combitube has all the design features of a Standard shelter but also offers increased ventilation in the form of a number of 4mm perforations at the top of the shelter.

TUBEX Combitube shelters are designed for more exposed sites where there is a greater contrast between growing conditions within the shelters and those without.

Ideally suited for Beech, Oak, Wild Cherry and Lime as these species require a more ventilated environment.

Rubber Tree Cushions are manufactured from soft rubber with two preformed slots to allow strapping to feed through and two concave surfaces to allow a snug fit between the tree and stake.

The CT Bio Spiral guard has a UV stabiliser incorporated at the time of manufacturing to provide a stable service life of 4-5 years.

If the Bio Spirals are left in the environment they will degrade over time due to the bacteria found in soil or due to enzymatic reactions. Alternatively, they can be inserted into an industrial composting unit which will degrade them within 6 months.

Releasable Cable Ties are ideal for fixing treeguards and netting to stakes.

Manufactured from nylon and featuring a wide thumb block with an easy to use release mechanism.

The TUBEX Easywrap is a cost effective alternative to a Spiral Guard, providing protection against small animal browsing and herbicides. 

Manufactured with a vertical split and a natural overlap which provides an enhanced growing environment.

A bamboo cane is required to support this product.

The TUBEX Easywrap can be slipped over the plant and the bamboo cane, and will expand as the plant grows. 

We also supply the TUBEX Vinewrap which is basically a wider diameter version of the Easywrap and provides extra space for the plant - well worth considering.

For exposed sites consider using the TUBEX Ecostart which is pre-fitted with a releasable tie.

The TUBEX Vinewrap was originally designed for the viticulture market but this product has been adopted by Cheviot Trees as an entry level protection solution for conifers or for species that find the TUBEX Easywrap or Spiral guards a bit cramped.

In the past our clients have requested a cost effective protection product for commercial conifers such as Scots Pine, Douglas Fir, etc. A damaged bud due to rabbit / hare damage often results in a tree with poor form and subsequent loss of yield.

Twin wall polypropylene construction with a vertical split which produces a natural overlap. To install, simply slide the product over the bamboo cane and plant.

A bamboo cane if required to support this product.

Our hessian tree tie is a simple and low cost solution to tying trees to stakes.

Supplied on a roll and is manufactured from 100% natural fibres.

A spacer block is not required as you can use use the hessian tree tie to form a cushion between the tree and the stake.

In time, the tie will biodegrade as the tree requires less support.

The TUBEX Ecostart is designed to offer a reliable, yet economical solution to rabbit and hare browsing where the prime concern is the initial establishment period. 

They are suitable for slender plants used in hedging and landscaping and are a good alternative to a TUBEX Easywrap on exposed sites as they are pre-fitted with a releasable tie.

TUBEX Shrubshelters are a range of tree shelters with large diameters designed for shrubs, and provide improved survival rates by protecting against rabbits, hares and voles as well as providing complete herbicide protection.

TUBEX Shrubshelters are ideally suited to landscaping projects with mixed planting stock.

• Moulded top lip to minimise stem abrasion.

We also supply the Treeguard in a wider diameter for shrubby species and in roll form that can be cut to length.

The TUBEX Treeguard Mesh for Shrubs provides reliable plant protection, enhances growth as well as being designed to blend subtly into the natural environment.

The Treeguard range of products are an open mesh product with no plastic film. If you are planting conifers, or any species that requires plenty of air movement around the plant then the Treeguard is the ideal protection option.

This is a larger diameter version of the TUBEX Treeguard and is ideally suited for bushy, multi-stemmed species.

We also supply the Treeguard in a wider diameter for shrubby species and in roll form that can be cut to length.

The Treeguard material is manufactured in the same way as Shelterguard but has no film bonded to the inside – it’s just a pure net. If you are planting conifers, or any species that requires plenty of air movement around the plant then the Treeguard is the ideal protection option.

Supplied on rolls and can be easily cut to create bespoke sizes of tree shelters. Simply cut and fix to the stake using our releasable cable ties.

UV stabilised material for a long service life.

The Treeguard material is often the preferred choice for visually sensitive sites due to the products ability to merge ‘quietly’ into the background.

We also supply this product in the form of prefabricated guards that come pre-fitted with tie(s) either in a regular or wide diameter.

The TUBEX Treeguard range of products provide reliable plant protection, enhances growth as well as being designed to blend subtly into the natural environment.

The TUBEX Treeguard range of products are an open mesh product with no plastic film. If you are planting conifers, or any species that requires plenty of air movement around the plant then the Treeguard is the ideal protection option.

Supplied as flat sheets of open mesh which can be formed into a shelter on site.

Ideal for bushy or multi-stemmed planting where it may be difficult to install a pre-formed guard.

To install, wrap the mesh around the plant and affix using cable ties to a stake. Cable ties and stakes are sold separately.

TUBEX Voleguards help to minimise potentially fatal damage caused by voles and mice such as bark stripping.

They are a tightly rolled plastic cylinder which is split vertically and designed to hold it's unique shape and retain sufficient overlap to enable the VOLEGUARD to expand as the tree grows.

• Manufactured from high gauge brown polypropylene which does not harm the environment.
• Rigid design that provides high strength and low weight.

Voleguards are self supporting but a cane is often recommended for support and to prevent pivoting. A bamboo cane of 450mm height is sufficient although some of our clients prefer using a 900mm height to provide greater visibility in the field to aid future maintenance. 

Our pack of 10 tree shelter recycling bulk bags are ideal for packing and storing waste tree shelters prior to collection by a recycling company. Each bag has approx. dimensions of 1000x1000x1000mm.

Waste tree shelters are lightweight and bulky to transport, so should be nested and packed as densely as possible into bulk bags to minimise volume.
